Like a lot of other holidays, there are conflicting spellings. According to Wikipedia, the offical spelling is Veterns Day (and not Veteran's Day) - meaning that all Veterans are honored and remembered on this day.Veterans Day is celebrated on November 11 in honor of those who have served in the armed forces of the United States.
The United States Department of Veterens Affairs also has a official Veterans Day website where there are photo galleries and downloads available.
Veterans Day was also formerly known as Armistice Day
